Ok I got the email to the left last week from DirecTV about the NFL Sunday Ticket.
Notice the line that states “There will be absolutely no charge for your NFL SUNDAY TICKET subscription until it is confirmed that the 2011 NFL season will begin.”
My first thought was well….NO SHIT.
If the NFL doesn’t pull it’s head out of its ass it is quite possible I will never watch another game. I would rather be making money online with my Sundays than watch overpriced players bitch and be forced to pay $20+ per game because of NFL viewing rules.
Anyways, after I cooled down I realized.
What a smart thing for DirecTV to send out.
Why?
One word, support and customer service. Ok that was four words but you get the idea.
It’s a preemptive strike on their part. You see by them sending out this email they did some good by saving themselves some phone calls and therefor they saved hours on the phone.
Will it make me renew…only if I forget to call and cancel it.
Do I like being forced to pay too much to watch something that should be free…not so much.

At first I though, here you go again with yet another issue like the one from the moving company..:) but yeah, it pays to be a proactive service provider dealing with issues early.
Hey there, new to your site love this: “I would rather be making money online with my Sundays than watch overpriced players bitch and be forced to pay $20+ per game because of NFL viewing rules.”
I’ll think I’ll stick around for awhile and see what this “Guild” is all about.
