4 Things To Do To Make Money On Facebook

by Cary Bergeron on October 25, 2011

Ok let me preface this with I don’t do all this shit cause I am on my anti Facebook kick lately and make money in other areas like Google Adsense.

However, if you are looking for some tips to what needs to be done to make money on the time sink known as The Facebook keep reading. After the tips below I will give some interesting facts about what drives Facebook and why it is important to branding.

My Top 4 Facebook Tips

  1. Try And Post Everyday – I know this may seem like a no brainer but most people don’t do it. It’s one thing to be that dude you knew in high school just running off at the mouth about everything he thinks he knows. But, it is a completely different thing to try to brand your product and to do so you need to try and post every day.
  2. Engage With Your Fans – This may seem like another no brainer but really so many people fuck this up its crazy. A couple things that come to mind would be to post links to articles that your fans/friends would like to read, ask questions or post helpful tips. Engagement is critical and so is sharing on social networks.
  3. Don’t Forget The Call To Action – If you want your audience to do something don’t forget to ask them. Ask for the like or the share or to visit the link of that cool video on your website. If you don’t ask they won’t do it. Simple is good with your CTA and remember always ask for it.
  4. Have Fun – Remember it’s a social network so don’t make it all business. If you run your company Facebook page, remember that there are real people on the other side of those likes. If you think it is fun, exciting or worth sharing they will to.

Other Cool Facebook Facts

  • 56% of consumers are likely to recommend a brand to a friend after becoming a fan
  • 78% of consumers “Like” fewer than 10 brands
  • 51% of consumers said they are more likely to buy a product after “Liking” the product on Facebook
  • 61% of consumers interact with companies on their social networks to receive discounts

So there you have it.

Making money on Facebook isn’t as easy as making money with Google Adsense but the tips above will get you started.

Enjoy…

Rian I’m glad to hear you are working the plan and making some $$$.

Adsense cannot be beat when it comes to long term, passive income. I’ haven’t seen anything like it since I’ve been making money online.

Facebook is great for creating a second stream of income but definitely takes some work and you need to watch it much more closely than you do an Adsense site for sure.

Hello Mr. Bergeron,

Do you have an idea when The Adsense Guild will be available for new clients? I would like additional and more focused advice from a professional such as yourself.

I have over 30 sites, almost all of them were purchased and built by 2 companies around the Adsense passive income idea. After several months, these sites are not making any money so I am slowing turning them toward your idea of how the Adsense sites should be designed.

I’m a proud member of The Adsense Receipt.

Thanks for your time.
