by Cary Bergeron on December 22, 2009

**Update Dec 23 – The site has been sold of $80k**

For those who don’t know already I am selling one of my sites.  This site is a real money maker and if you hurry over to Flippa you can still place a bid.

The auction can be found here http://flippa.com/auctions/80874/

I can show analytics only with a phone call and a signed NDA.

If you have any questions you can post them here or in the auction and I will do my best to answer them before it closes.

This is truly amazing. Last time I did adsense I was up to about $150 a month, until i guess I got slapped down to a third of that. I will most SURELY be following you!

It’s best to have more than one site going with Adsense. That way of Google gets the itch to shake up the search results you wont take such a hit.

Congrats on the sale Cary will definitely be waiting to see your adsense report. Listened to the interview with ryan. You really did something special. I completely agree with tackling the tougher niches as opposed to the not so heavily searched niches. Your success is a true motivation!

Shane, thanks for the kind words. I’m working on the finishing touches to my Adsense and SEO report.

Why did you decide to sell it? You don’t just sell a site that brings you half of the adsense money… :)

Well, congrats!

Himi, in short I sold the site so I could finally quit my day job and be comfortable with running my business. Also, the site didn’t account for half of my Adsense profits more like a third.

I wasn’t really concerned with selling the site as I know how to make many more. Right now I have four other Adsense sites that are bringing in just under 10k now. Each month they make more and more money and I don’t have to do much on them at all. Aside from these sites I have about dozen more on the back burner right now just waiting for me to put in some time and effort to make them profitable.

Currently I am concentrating on another niche that needs my attention and doesn’t involve Adsense. Adsense is just one channel of revenue and is awesome because it’s passive and I can go weeks without doing anything in it.

If it was my only profitable site and I just lucked into it chances are I wouldn’t have sold it. But since I know how to make sites that bring in considerable money I’m not worried about it.

I hope this answered your question.

I would like to know what the cost is for “The Adsense Report”.
Thanks.

Cary Bergeron February 23, 2010 at 9:43 am

The Adsense Report will cost $97 and it will be available through Clickbank to promote at 75% commission.

Wow Cary, you are smoking through those sites man. Congrats, you’ve inspired me to keep adding content to my niche sites. Now i’m thinking of getting the adsense report.

Thanks for your answer! I have another one, hope you don’t mind! ;)

Would you monetize a website with adsense which has about 25percent returning visitors?

Do the repeat clicks from returning visitors bring less money? What’s your experience?

Cary Bergeron April 27, 2010 at 10:17 am

@ Fabian – Thanks for stopping by. The Adsense Report is short but it is packed with super awesome information. Don’t let the length of it fool you.

Cary Bergeron April 27, 2010 at 10:22 am

@ Himi – Yes I would monetize a site with 25% returning visitors. As far as returning visitor clicks being worth less I haven’t seen any proof of this.
